Nipponscope is a specialty anamorphic rehouse line that turns vintage Japanese stills and projection optics into modern 2× squeeze cine primes — a niche kit that's rented for projects that want a specific vintage anamorphic character (different from the more common Lomo or Kowa rehouses). This case carries a 4-lens Nipponscope set (28, 40, 50, 85mm).The CNC-cut foam interior profiles each Nipponscope barrel to its specific dimensions. The Nipponscope rehoused barrels are standardized across the line in front diameter but the body length varies more than other rehouse lines, so each cutout is dimensioned specifically. Each lens loads with PL mount facing up for fast deployment.Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip carry handle. Closed-cell polyethylene foam CNC-cut to the Nipponscope barrel dimensions.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days. For matched cases with additional Nipponscope focal lengths or for variants that include accessory cutouts for diopters and clip-on filters, call 818-767-3030.
