Precision foam wells, cut from manufacturer dimensions, protect the front and rear elements, lens barrel, and gear rings against shock and crush loads.
The ATA-300 Category 1 shell pairs a plywood core with laminate skins, recessed twist latches, and tongue-and-groove lid sealing for repeated airline and freight use. Exterior dimensions are about 16.5 x 14 x 9.75 in, ships at about 12 lb. Made in the USA.
