Rehoused Zero Optik Nikon 18mm (single hole)

The Zero Optik rehouse of the Nikon AI-S 18mm is a niche piece of cine glass — a wide-angle prime that puts vintage Nikon character into a PL mount with matched cine gearing. It usually ships as a single lens or as part of a larger Zero Optik Nikon set, and this case is built for the single-lens case so the 18mm can ride with a different lens set or as a one-lens specialty rental.

The CNC-cut foam interior is profiled to the exact body dimensions of the Zero Optik rehoused barrel — which is larger than the original Nikon AI-S housing because of the additional PL mount hardware and gearing. The single-hole layout keeps the case compact: the lens is the only thing inside, with a small accessory cutout for a front cap and rear cap.

The shell is built to ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip handle. Closed-cell polyethylene foam holds the lens cutout tight across many insertion cycles.
