Precision foam wells, cut from manufacturer dimensions, protect the front and rear elements, lens barrel, and gear rings against shock and crush loads.
The ATA-300 Category 1 shell pairs a plywood core with laminate skins, recessed twist latches, and tongue-and-groove lid sealing for repeated airline and freight use. Exterior dimensions are about 15.5 x 14.25 x 12.5 in, ships at about 28 lb. Made in the USA.
