The Flanders Scientific DM160 is the 17-inch HDR-grade reference monitor used as a DIT and post-production reference standard — calibrated to broadcast color standards, with the kind of panel that justifies its premium rental quote. The DM160 ships with a working accessory kit (battery plates, cables, sun hoods) that travels with the monitor.
This case is built on a Pelican 1550 base with CNC-cut foam profiled to the DM160 body. The foam holds the monitor face-up with cutouts for the V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery plate, a coiled SDI cable, the AC adapter, and a Hoodman-style sun hood stored flat against the screen face. Nothing presses on the screen surface in transit.
The Pelican 1550 shell is ATA 300 Category 1, IP67 waterproof, with pressure-equalization valve, recessed twist latches, built-in wheels, and an extending handle.
