The SmallHD 703 (non-Bolt variant) is a 7-inch director's monitor that's earned a long life on commercial and narrative sets — bright enough for daylight, light enough for handheld director use, and built with the kind of physical hardware that takes punishment. This case is built on a Pelican iM2300 base with CNC-cut foam profiled to the 703 body specifically.
The Pelican iM2300 is the rotomolded "Storm" series case — slightly more robust than the standard Pelican 1400-series, with twist latches that are easier to open with cold hands or gloves. The CNC-cut foam interior holds the 703 monitor in shooting orientation with cutouts for the V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery plate, the sun hood (stored flat against the screen face), and a single SDI/HDMI cable coiled to working diameter.
Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with pressure-equalization valve, recessed twist latches, and a soft-grip handle sized for one-handed carry. Foam is closed-cell polyethylene CNC-cut to the 703 body profile.
