The Sony PVM-X2400 is a 24-inch 4K HDR TRIMASTER picture monitor, the current 24-inch panel on DIT carts and in video village, and it is the kind of panel that rides between the rental house, the DIT cart and the grading suite on somebody else’s truck. Sony ships it in one-trip cardboard. This is the transport case: a built-to-order ATA 300 Category I fabricated flight case with CNC-cut foam that seats the PVM-X2400 face-in on a contoured pad, suspended off the case walls, with the mount you select in its own cavity and separate wells for the power supply and cabling.

Pick the mount and hood above. A panel that travels on its Sony stand, one that keeps an Oppenheimer or OppCam yoke bolted on, and a bare panel going to a VESA arm or rack rails are three different cavities. The foam is cut to the one you select, and the sun hood gets its own pocket when you pack one. Monitor not included.

Fit & shipping FAQ

Does the yoke have to come off?

No. Select “yoke stays on” and the cavity is cut around the panel with the yoke bolted to it, so the monitor goes from case to stand without tools. Select the Sony stand or bare panel and the cavity is cut for that instead. A case cut for one will not seat the other.

Where does the sun hood go?

In its own pocket, folded, when you select it above. Hoods that ride loose against the panel are how bezels get scratched.

Can it check as airline baggage or ship by courier?

The shell is built to ATA 300 Category I for checked air travel, courier and freight. Cases in this size class run over the 62-inch linear checked-bag limit, so most clients fly them as oversized checked baggage or send them by courier.

Do you build these for a fleet?

Yes. Rental houses standardize on one layout and reorder it with engraved IDs; the drawing stays on file. Request a fleet quote and we’ll spec the run.
