Custom ATA shipping case configured for a vintage Yamaha CP70b electric acoustic baby grand piano. The CP70b was designed to break down into two sections — the case is built around that split, with foam wells contoured to the harp and the keybed sections separately so the instrument travels in its intended transit configuration with the action protected.
Foam captures the legs, pedal lyre, and small parts in their own compartments. Lid foam carries a dedicated pad over the action with the dampers relieved so the keys are not depressed during transit. ATA 300 Category I shell with recessed latches and a wheeled chassis sized for the working musician circuit.
