ARRI Codex Compact Drives are the recording media for ARRI Alexa cameras — purpose-built SSDs that get ejected from the camera multiple times per shoot day and need to ride between the camera, the DIT cart, and the rental house intact. The drives are precision data hardware and a single mishandling event can corrupt a full recording session.This case carries six Codex Compact Drives in dedicated foam cutouts. Each cutout holds the drive with the data port facing up (the orientation that protects the contacts from accidental short and dust intrusion). The foam is profiled tight enough that drives don't shift in transit, with edge support that prevents drive-on-drive contact.Shell is IP67 watertight and crushproof with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip carry handle sized for one-handed transport. Closed-cell polyethylene foam CNC-cut to the Codex Compact Drive body.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days.
