A wheeled custom case for the ARRI Gear Head 1. The CNC-cut foam interior holds the gear head in a contoured cradle that supports the cast body across multiple contact points, with separate fitted wells for the three crank handles, baseplate, and the tie-down hardware that travels with the head.Gear heads are heavy and the geared mechanism doesn't tolerate impact loads through the case wall — the foam layout spreads support away from the gear shafts and keeps the crank handles from migrating into the body in transit. Wheels and a pull-out handle on the shell make the case manageable solo between trucks, stages, and locations.Designed and foamed in North Hollywood by Innerspace Cases.
