A Pelican 1610 shell custom-foamed for the Cartoni Lambda 50 fluid head. The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the head body in a contoured pocket sized to its specific geometry, with separate fitted wells for the pan bar, baseplate, sliding plate, and tie-down hardware.Fluid heads of this size and weight need foam that spreads support across multiple contact points — not just under the base. Our layout keeps the tilt mechanism and pan bearings from taking the load through transit, and the 1610's footprint with wheels and a pull handle makes the case manageable solo.Designed and foamed in North Hollywood by Innerspace Cases. Cases for the Lambda 25, Lambda 30, and other Cartoni heads can be spec'd to the same standard — call 818-767-3030.

Will this fit my setup?
Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
