The Preston Handset 4 is the wireless hand unit in the Preston FIZ system — a precision focus/iris/zoom controller used by camera assistants on virtually every modern shoot. This case is built on a Pelican 1535 base with CNC-cut foam profiled to the Handset 4 body and accessories.The foam interior holds the Handset 4 in its operating orientation with the touchscreen protected and the rotary controls cradled in foam that doesn't compress against them. Accessory cutouts hold the antennas, the AC charging adapter, the LBUS cables, and the small consumables that ship with the system.The Pelican 1535 shell is the carry-on-sized Pelican — IP67 waterproof, with pressure-equalization valve, recessed twist latches, built-in wheels, and extending handle for airport transport.Built in our North Hollywood workshop.
