The Preston Light Ranger autofocus kit — the sensor head, the controller, the cables, and the mounting brackets — drops into a CNC-cut foam layout sized to the actual kit. The Light Ranger sensor sits in a fitted profile that protects its optics, the controller has its own compartment with port clearance, and the cables coil into a separate cable bay.The Pelican Protector shell brings the gasketed lid, automatic equalization valve, and copolymer impact body for working set use. Foam density is tuned to the kit's weight so cable runs don't pull on the sensor in transit.Built by Innerspace Cases at our North Hollywood, CA workshop.
