The Vapor camera crane is a precision underslung crane system used for low-mode and steady-Cam-style work — built around lightweight carbon-fiber arms with delicate hardware that doesn't tolerate impact damage. Shipping a Vapor between rental house and location is the highest-risk part of its life cycle, and a generic case won't support the crane components correctly.This case is sized to ship a complete Vapor crane system. CNC-cut foam profiles each component to its working orientation: the carbon-fiber arms separated and supported along their full length, the mount yoke in a cutout that doesn't compress against the bearings, the counterweight assembly in a dedicated heavier-foam compartment, and the hardware kit in a smaller upper-foam pocket.Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with reinforced corners (this is high-value cargo), recessed twist latches that won't pop in freight handling, pressure-equalization valve, and reinforced soft-grip handles for two-person lifts.Built in our North Hollywood workshop.
