The Schneider Optics super wide low angle prism is a specialty optical accessory used for ground-level cinematography — a precision prism assembly that lets the camera shoot near floor-level perspectives without requiring rigging or pit work. The prism elements are delicate and need dedicated foam protection.
The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the prism in its parked orientation with cutouts profiled to the optical assembly and the mounting hardware. Foam thickness is built up around the optical elements to absorb impact during transit.
Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip carry handle. Closed-cell polyethylene foam CNC-cut to the prism dimensions.
