A camera kit's battery payload is usually the heaviest single thing on the cart, and it's also the part most likely to fail an airline inspection if the batteries aren't seated correctly in a TSA-acceptable case. This case is built around a Pelican 1600 shell with CNC-cut foam profiled to carry six Anton Bauer Dionic 26V 240 gold-mount batteries plus the LP4 four-bay charger.
Each battery sits in its own dedicated cutout with terminals down, which keeps the contacts protected from accidental short-circuit in transit (the failure mode airlines actually inspect for). The LP4 charger sits in the upper layer with cutouts that accommodate the AC power brick and a wound power cable. Total interior layout matches both U.S. carry-on dimensions and the IATA lithium-ion shipping spec for ground freight.
The Pelican 1600 base shell is the standard for protected electronics transport — waterproof to IP67, ATA 300 Category 1, with a pressure-equalization valve and recessed latches that won't trigger or pop in pressurized cargo. Soft-grip handles on the lid and front edge for two-handed lifts (this case is heavy when fully loaded).
Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days. For configurations with different battery counts (8 or 12 batteries), V-Mount replacements, or a matched cable case, call 818-767-3030.
