A Pelican Storm iM2500 custom-foamed for a built ARRI Alexa Mini package. The Alexa Mini remains one of the most-rented bodies in the world, and a built kit with viewfinder, batteries, and media is tens of thousands of dollars of gear — the case is a rounding error on the package it protects. The CNC-cut foam holds the body in its operating configuration: top handle attached, MVF-2 viewfinder in a fitted bay, side bracket, B-mount or Gold-mount batteries, CFast 2.0 media, and the cables the kit travels with.
Every item gets its own well, so an open-case glance tells a camera assistant or rental desk the package is complete before the truck rolls — count-at-a-glance check-in and check-out. The iM2500 is a compact, crushproof, watertight shell that keeps a working Mini kit protected on location and in air freight without carrying more case than the build needs.

What's in the case as built?
The Alexa Mini body in operating configuration — top handle, MVF-2 viewfinder in a fitted bay, side bracket, B-mount or Gold-mount batteries, CFast 2.0 media, and the kit's cables — each in its own foam well.
Can the foam be cut for my exact battery and media setup?
Yes — it's built to order. We cut the wells to your battery mount, media format, and any added accessories. Tell us the loadout on the quote.
Is the shell big enough for a fully built Mini?
This build is laid out for the Mini in its working configuration in the iM2500 footprint. For a larger built-up profile (matte box, longer lens aboard) we can step up the shell — tell us how it travels and we'll spec it.
Can it check as airline baggage?
The Storm iM2500 is compact and rated for checked air travel, courier, and freight — well within the typical checked-bag limit, so it flies as standard checked baggage.
What's the lead time, and can you rush it?
Every case is built to order and ships in about 14–21 business days. Rush production is available as a premium by quote when a deadline is tight — tell us your date and we'll price it.
