The 1637 Air is Pelican's deep, lightweight rolling case — same footprint as the 1637 but with the Air-series weight savings, sized correctly for the Venice 2 body with the lens mount installed and the side-mounted extension cradle clear. The well is contoured around the body chassis, the dual-base SDI block, the user-button panel, and the right-hand grip.Adjacent wells in the base layer carry the AXS / SxS card reader, the supplied tools, the lens mount adapters (LPL or PL), and a backup eyecup. Top layer can be cut for the DVF-EL200 viewfinder, the rosette handle, the extension shoulder pad, or whatever the rental package ships with.
