SmallHD Cine 24 Cases

Equipment Protection Guide

SmallHD Cine 24 — Cases & Transport Protection

At 24 inches and roughly 7.5 kg, the Cine 24 is a two-hand monitor that lives on carts and trucks. Wheels on the case stop being a luxury.

  • 24-inch 4K high-bright
  • ≈7.5 kg panel
  • 3 dedicated builds
  • Wheeled options

About this equipment

The SmallHD Cine 24 is the large-format member of the Cine line — a 24-inch, 4K high-bright monitor that anchors video village and client monitoring on productions that ship constantly. It is a cart-and-truck item: nobody hand-carries a Cine 24 far, which is why our builds for it emphasize wheels, pull handles, and stacking geometry.

The catalog layouts below range from a tight monitor-only build to wheeled cases with enlarged AKS bays for stands, shades, and power. All hold the panel face-inward in CNC-cut foam inside ATA-grade shells.

Travel and carry-on workflows: compact hard-shell builds sized to airline limits.

Level 3Rental House

Constant shipping: ATA shells, modular replaceable foam, fleet-matched layouts.

Transport knowledge

Wheels and the pull handle

Two of the three catalog builds roll. If the case moves through docks, parking structures, and elevators daily — rental and broadcast use — the wheeled version pays for itself in crew time and avoided drops.

Fleet-match your village

Productions that run multiple Cine 24s should standardize one case layout: identical foam, identical AKS placement, engraving optional. Techs stop thinking about which case holds what.

Shipping a 24-inch panel

Freight it in the ATA case, never in the factory carton, and insure to replacement value. High-bright panels this size are disproportionately expensive to replace relative to the cost of the case protecting them.

Frequently asked questions

Monitor-only or monitor-plus-AKS — which build?

If the Cine 24 travels with its stand, shade, and power, take the larger AKS build; a second loose bag defeats the case. Monitor-only suits fly-pack kits that already have an accessories case.

Can you build a matched set for several monitors?

Yes — multi-unit fleet builds with identical layouts are our specialty. Request a fleet quote.

How long does an in-catalog Cine 24 case take?

Made to order, typically shipping in 7–10 business days. New layouts are quoted per project.

Protecting a fleet of these?

Multi-unit and matched case sets are what we build best — one engineered layout, every case identical, re-orderable for years.
