SmallHD OLED 22 — Cases & Transport Protection

An OLED reference panel is the most fragile screen on the truck — and the one whose accuracy the whole pipeline trusts. Crews here run it in pairs, so most of our builds are dual-monitor cases.

  • Dual-monitor layouts

About this equipment

The SmallHD OLED 22 is a 22-inch, 4K OLED reference monitor used where color accuracy is the job: DIT carts, grading suites on wheels, and client monitoring that has to match the pipeline. OLED panels are thinner and less forgiving of pressure and flex than LCDs, and a damaged reference monitor is not just a repair bill — it is a calibration problem for the whole show.

Working setups tend to run these in pairs, which is why most of our OLED 22 builds are dual-monitor cases, including wheeled versions. Each panel gets its own face-inward cavity; feet-attached configurations get their own foam.

Transport knowledge

Two monitors, one case

The dual builds hold both panels in separate cavities with foam between and around them — no panel-to-panel contact, one case on the cart. The wheeled dual build is the rental-house pattern.

Feet on or feet off

We cut layouts for both. If your OLED 22 travels with feet attached, say so — forcing a feet-on monitor into feet-off foam is how corners chip.

Treat it as a reference instrument

Ship in the ATA case, keep desiccant in the case, and let the monitor acclimate before powering up after temperature swings. Insure to replacement value.

Frequently asked questions

Single or dual case — which should I buy?

Count how the monitors actually leave the shop. If two OLED 22s go to set together more often than not, the dual build saves space, money, and one thing to track.

Will the foam fit with the feet attached?

We cut for either configuration — specify when ordering, or request a quote if your setup includes brackets or accessories.

How long does an in-catalog OLED 22 case take?

Made to order, typically shipping in 7–10 business days. New layouts are quoted per project.
