Pelican 1557 case configured to carry a six-lens set of Iron Glass MKII Soviet-rehouse cine primes (typically the 28, 35, 50, 58, 85 and 135mm). CNC-cut foam wells are tuned to the MKII housings with rear cap on and pockets at the focus and iris rings so the gear ring positions are preserved between shoots.

The 1557 is a useful shell for a 6-prime working set — checked-bag friendly footprint, watertight gasket, automatic pressure-equalization valve. Foam grips the front cap diameter without pinching the gear rings, and the lid foam is relieved so the focus throw stays free in storage.

Designed and CNC-cut at our North Hollywood workshop. Call 818-767-3030 to spec a variant for additional focal lengths or rear T-mount swaps.

Will this fit my setup?

Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.

We reply with a real answer, usually same business day.

My setup is different

Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.

I need several

Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
