The case is sized to ship the lens fully built up with focus gear, zoom gear, and iris-ring tab attached; the foam supports the barrel along its full length so the weight doesn't pivot on the PL mount in transit.Interior is CNC-cut HDPE foam with a contoured cradle for the barrel and a deeper rear-element pocket. Lid foam is convoluted with a navy velour contact face. Shell is ATA-300 hard side with reinforced corners, sized for the 24-290 specifically — no wasted space, no rattle, no need for additional padding inserts.Designed and built at 11555 Cantara Street, North Hollywood.
