The CNC-cut foam interior supports the lens along its full barrel length, with the load spread across multiple contact points so the mount and the internal zoom mechanism don't take all the shock in handling or transit.Separate fitted pockets carry the lens support feet, handle, focus and zoom whips, and any add-on accessories the lens travels with.
