Custom ATA shipping case configured for an Apollo 180mm anamorphic prime - typically the Xelmus Apollo or other long-tele anamorphic. Single contoured well captures the lens at the rear PL or LPL mount and the front housing with relief at the focus and iris ring positions. The 180 is a heavy long-format anamorphic; its well is dimensioned with extra side-bolster foam to absorb the side load on a fully assembled lens.
Lid foam captures the lens at the rear flange to lock it under flight pressure changes. ATA 300 Category 1 plywood + ABS laminate shell, steel ball corners, recessed butterfly latches, edge-mounted spring handles, full aluminum extrusion edging. Front and rear cap pockets stow protective caps without loose hardware.
