The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the lens along its barrel, with separate fitted pockets for the lens support feet, hand whips / focus and zoom rings, and the carpeted AKS section sized for accessory bundles, paperwork, shim packs, and small tools.The carpeted AKS section is a popular addition for working lens cases — the soft surface keeps finishes from scuffing and absorbs vibration.
