Custom-routed foam locks down the front and rear elements, lens barrel, and gear rings against shock and crush loads so nothing shifts in handling.
The ATA-300 Category 1 shell pairs a plywood core with laminate skins, recessed twist latches, and tongue-and-groove lid sealing for repeated airline and freight use. Exterior dimensions are about 19.5 x 9.5 x 10.25 in, ships at about 35 lb. Made in the USA.
