A single-lens case sized for a Nikon 50mm prime — most commonly a rehoused Nikon AI-S 50/1.4 or a cine-converted Nikkor 50mm 1.8 that's part of a larger vintage kit. The case is sized for a single lens so the 50mm can ride independently — useful as a B-camera spare lens, a one-off rental, or insurance against losing a specific focal length out of a larger set.
The CNC-cut foam interior is profiled to the rehoused Nikon barrel dimensions (which vary slightly between rehouse vendors — TLS, Zero Optik, GL Optics — but cluster around a consistent diameter). The single-hole cutout holds the lens with PL mount facing up, with a small accessory cutout for front and rear lens caps.
The shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip carry handle. Closed-cell polyethylene foam holds the cutout tolerance across many insertion cycles.
