A working laptop is never just a laptop — it’s the machine, the power brick, the dongles, and the drives that make it useful on location. This is a custom CNC-cut foam insert built by Innerspace Cases for a Pelican 1495 shell, so a MacBook Pro and its accessories travel as one protected unit instead of loose in a bag.
The foam is cut to hold the laptop and its accessories in fitted pockets, suspended off the case walls so handling loads never reach the chassis or the screen. The Pelican 1495 shell carries the environmental protection; our foam does the impact isolation inside it.

Protection and construction
The Pelican 1495 shell is rated by Pelican as watertight, crushproof, and dust proof, and carries Pelican’s own guarantee on the shell. The custom foam interior is made by Innerspace Cases and covered by our workmanship terms — two separate things, and we state them separately so you know exactly what stands behind each part of the case.
Confirm compatibility
This build’s foam is cut for the MacBook Pro 17". Carrying a different laptop size or a specific accessory load-out — drives, dongles, a second power supply? Tell us the model on the quote and we cut the foam to match.
Fit & shipping FAQ
Which laptop does the foam fit?
This build is cut for the MacBook Pro 17". The Pelican 1495 shell accommodates other laptop sizes — tell us your exact machine on the quote and we cut a new insert to match it.
Is the case waterproof?
The Pelican 1495 shell is rated by Pelican as watertight, crushproof, and dust proof. Our contribution is the CNC-cut foam interior that isolates the machine from impact inside that shell.
What’s covered by which warranty?
The shell carries Pelican’s guarantee as its manufacturer. The custom foam interior is our work and is covered by Innerspace Cases’ workmanship terms. We don’t extend one over the other.
Can I fly with it?
The 1495 is a laptop-sized case that many travellers carry on — confirm dimensions against your airline’s limit. It is equally at home as checked baggage or in a courier’s hands.
What’s the lead time, and can you rush it?
Every case is built to order and ships in about 14–21 business days. Rush production is available as a premium by quote when a deadline is tight — tell us your date and we’ll price it.
Do you build these for a team or a fleet?
Yes. Outfitting a crew, a rental inventory, or a multi-office rollout is our specialty — standardized, re-orderable builds with optional engraved IDs. Request a fleet quote and we’ll spec the run.

Will this fit my setup?
Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
