It’s also finished aluminum that scuffs, with intake vents and a wall of ports that don’t want grit or a drop. This is a Pelican Storm iM2200 shell fitted with our CNC-cut foam to transport one safely, trip after trip — not loose in a backpack.
The foam cradles the Mac Studio in a contoured pocket, vents shielded and ports reachable, with separate wells for the power cable, Thunderbolt cabling, adapters, and an external drive or two. The Pelican shell is IP67 watertight and crushproof; the machine rides suspended off the walls.

The Mac Studio seats in a contoured foam well with separate pockets for the power cable, Thunderbolt cabling, adapters, and an external drive. Need room for a specific dock or drive stack? Tell us on the quote and we cut a pocket for it.
Is the Pelican shell really waterproof?
Yes — the Storm iM2200 shell is IP67 watertight and crushproof, with a purge valve for pressure changes. Our foam handles the impact isolation inside it.
Can I fly with it?
The iM2200 is a compact case that many crews carry on; confirm dimensions against your airline’s limit. It’s equally at home as checked baggage or in a courier’s hands.
What’s the lead time, and can you rush it?
Every case is built to order and ships in about 7–10 business days. Rush production is available as a premium by quote when a deadline is tight — tell us your date and we’ll price it.
