The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the chassis in a contoured pocket — vents protected, ports accessible — with separate fitted wells for power cable, Thunderbolt cabling, adapters, and external drives.The Air 1557 is roughly 40% lighter than the equivalent Protector shell, useful for traveling DIT setups.
