A 2-rack-unit touring fly rack case for the kind of small-footprint gear that runs in the back of a comms rack — audio processors, network switches, IFB transmitters, RF receivers, small server appliances. The case is built for repeated load-in and load-out, not for one-time freight, so the latches, hinges, and handles are sized for the abuse pattern of touring rather than shipping.Interior frame is a standard 19-inch rack with 2 rack units of vertical space, threaded for 10-32 rack screws. Front and rear lids both lift off cleanly so cabling can be dressed and powered without removing the equipment from the case. The interior is sized to leave enough room behind the rack rail for cable routing without crushing on rear lid close. The outer shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches that won't pop during stage handling, a pressure-equalization valve, and full-length lifting handles on both ends for fast two-person carries. The case stacks reliably with matched 4RU and 6RU fly racks from our standard build line.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days. For a matched case with casters, recessed handles, or a different rack count, call 818-767-3030.

Will this fit my setup?

Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.

We reply with a real answer, usually same business day.

My setup is different

Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.

I need several

Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
