Steadicam and tiffen G70 arm - 3 Layers custom foam insert for IM2975

A three-layer custom CNC-cut foam insert for a Steadicam rig built around the Tiffen G70 isoelastic arm — the high-capacity arm Tiffen builds for Steadicam packages running heavy LF or large-format builds. The three-layer interior separates the arm (top layer with the spring canisters supported and the dual-arm joint protected), the sled and gimbal (middle layer with post supported along its full length and the gimbal yoke isolated), and the vest, monitor, and accessories (bottom layer).Insert is sized for a Pelican Storm iM-series shell with retractable handle, automatic pressure-equalization valve, press-and-pull latches, and over-molded soft-grip handles. Adjacent wells in the bottom layer for the spirit level, the docking bracket, the operator's monitor (Transvideo or SmallHD), the supplied tools, and the battery cradle. Closed-cell foam throughout so it doesn't shed into the arm mechanism on a long tour.Designed and CNC-cut in our Cantara Street workshop, North Hollywood, California.
