Custom ATA shipping case configured with three foam layers for the Steadicam Tiffen M2 Volt rig paired with the SmartSystems Arm X1, working batteries, and tool kit. CNC-cut foam captures the sled, arm, and AKS across three layers so the operator can pull a working rig out in stages without unloading the full case at a stage door.
Layered configuration keeps the gimbal motor and Volt control board on the protected mid-layer, with batteries and tools on the lower layer for service access and the arm on the top layer for direct removal. Lid foam is relieved at the Volt motor housing and control board.
injection-molded shell on a wheeled chassis with recessed latches and a watertight gasket. Designed and CNC-cut at Innerspace Cases in North Hollywood. Call 818-767-3030 to spec a build that adds the vest or a second arm.

Will this fit my setup?
Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
