This built-to-order ATA case protects that station in transit and on the truck — CNC-cut foam wells shaped to the specific laptop chassis, with a lid-side gear pouch, a brick cradle, a mouse pocket, and a divided accessories tray for USB, headset pigtails, dongles, and labels.
The laptop and its dongles are the single point of failure for a wireless intercom rig on location, and a cracked screen or a lost programming dongle can idle a whole comms department. Fitted foam and a lid donut that presses evenly against the closed screen keep the machine and its accessories from shifting or flexing, and the count-at-a-glance layout means the tech can confirm the whole station is aboard before the truck rolls. It’s the config case that pairs with the beltpack and kit cases to complete a comms package.
Construction is ATA 300 Category I with recessed pulls and butterfly latches, built and foamed in North Hollywood by Innerspace Cases. The freight logic is the same as the rest of the kit: carriers deny damage claims on self-packed electronics, and an ATA-grade case makes the laptop station insurable and the claim defensible. What does the case hold?
A Bolero comms operator’s control station: the laptop, its AC power brick and DC tail, a mouse, and a divided tray of cable accessories — USB, headset pigtails, dongles, and labels. Each item has a fitted well or pocket so the whole station travels as one case.
Will it fit my specific laptop?
The chassis wells are CNC-cut to your exact laptop model, so a different machine just means a different foam cut. Tell us the laptop on your quote and we shape the wells and the lid donut to it — the closed lid presses the screen evenly with no point loads.
Can it carry antennas, beltpacks, and chargers too?
Yes — we can fold the antennas, beltpacks, and chargers into the same shell for a single all-in-one config case, or keep the tech station separate to pair with the dedicated kit case. Tell us how you want to split the load and we lay out the foam accordingly.
Can it check as airline baggage?
It’s built to ATA 300 Category I for checked air travel, courier, and freight, so it’s rated for the handling whether it flies as checked baggage or ships on a pallet with the rest of the comms package.
What’s the lead time, and can you rush it?
Every case is built to order and ships in about 14–21 business days. Rush production is available as a premium by quote when a deadline is tight — tell us your air date and we’ll price it.
