Case Systems
Case Accessories, Hardware & Service
Once a kit has its cases, the accessories are what keep them in service for the long run. Replacement foam inserts for evolving kits, larger wheels for ground-transport cases that get heavy use, twist latches and padlock-compatible hardware for fleet standardization, custom-engraved identity plates so rental returns are unambiguous — these are the parts that matter once a case is in the field.
Innerspace stocks and ships case accessories across the working hardware lineup: engraved identity and equipment plates (3" × 1", 6" × 1", 8" × 1" standard sizes, custom engravings), pull-out handle assemblies (internal and external mount), twist latches and pad-lockable latch options, recessed handles, drop lids and lid extensions, casterboards and wheel kits for adding mobility to existing cases, replacement padlock hardware, and Pelican-specific replacement handles and latches for the 1637 Air and other models.
For custom case interiors — replacement foam, layered foam refits for evolving kits, accessory dividers and partitions, and full interior rebuilds for cases that have changed gear configurations — these are routine in-house jobs at the North Hollywood workshop.
Foam options include CNC-cut closed-cell polyethylene (standard), high-density Zotefoam (for sensitive optics and reference monitors), and pluck-foam blank inserts when the gear configuration isn't fixed yet. Edge banding, gear-specific labeling, and color-coded foam variants are available for fleet builds where multiple cases need to be visually distinguished.
Workshop visits for custom interior consultations are by appointment at the North Hollywood location. Request a consultation or quote.
