About this equipment

The ARRI ALEXA Mini LF pairs the Mini's compact form factor with ARRI's large-format sensor, and it became the default A-camera of high-end production almost immediately. It travels as a package: body, MVF-2 viewfinder, plates, media, and power move together between rental house and set.

Our Mini LF builds reflect that: package layouts with dedicated cavities for the body and its kit, wheeled versions for daily moves, and foam-only inserts if you already own the shell. Every cavity is CNC-cut — the MVF-2 in particular never travels loose.

Transport knowledge

The MVF-2 is the weak point

The viewfinder and its cable cost real money and break first. Our layouts cut a dedicated MVF-2 cavity with the cable coiled in its own pocket — the single highest-value feature of a Mini LF case.

A package build carries the working kit in one case that rolls off the truck ready. A tighter body-only build suits fly-away kits where support travels separately. The catalog has both.

Yes — mount hardware changes the nose depth slightly and the foam accounts for it. Specify your configuration when ordering.
