About this equipment
The ARRI ALEXA Mini is the compact Super 35 workhorse of episodic, commercial, and documentary production — small enough for gimbals and car rigs, standard enough that every rental house on earth carries it. It almost never travels as a bare body: MVF-1 viewfinders, plates, cages, and battery hardware define its real transport shape.
That is why our Mini builds split by configuration. A stripped body with the viewfinder off packs into a carry-on-size case; a built camera with Tilta hardware and battery attached needs a cavity cut for that exact silhouette. Both exist in the catalog below.

The single biggest ALEXA Mini casing mistake is buying foam for the bare body and then traveling built. Decide how the camera actually moves on your jobs and case for that configuration.
A stripped Mini in our carry-on-size build keeps the body with you on the flight while support gear flies checked. For international moves, carry the body, ship the rest.
